What are the member requirements to join The Hive?

• Families must have at least one child who is 5 years old or older

• Families must be legally homeschooling according to the State of MN

• Parents/Guardians must agree to and sign all of the expectations on The Hive Homeschool Community Culture Expectations form.

Anything else?

• A parent or guardian must be on-site at all times.

• The primary parent attending co-op is required to volunteer a combined two hours each co-op class day, at least one of those hours in a teaching or co-teaching role.

• The primary parent must volunteer in one Team Role for the school year.  Current teams include Class Days, Nature Days, Legal and Finance, Communication, and Member Engagement.

• Primary attending adults will complete and provide documentation of Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and a background check as long as membership is current at The Hive.

• Pay annual membership fee and member contributions by due dates.
